Cultural Considerations Essay People belonging to different cultures have different perception towards the aspects of life and justice is also under these aspects that have significant impact of culture. Individuals belonging to particular cultures have their opinion about the justice that is greatly influenced by the type of culture they belong to as every culture has some ethics and values that each individual and society follows. The concept of globalization has made people to live in diverse countries with different justice system and this leads to the issue of cross cultural disparity in perception of justice of different systems. So the culture values play a significant role in perceptions of justice and outcomes along with the comparison process (Bond, 1982). Since the people associated with certain cultures have their own beliefs and these beliefs of individuals belonging to different cultures contradicts them with the laws and regulations of a particular country. Some cultural facets negate or mitigate criminal responsibility where acts are committed under a reasonable good-faith belief in their propriety, based on the individual’s cultural heritage or tradition and this makes the people of particular culture to disagree with justice formulation of culture. The dissatisfaction of people from the justice system of the country escorts practical problems of the law and culture clash in the context of criminal and to some degree to civil liabilities also. These differences also cause variety of cases including homicide, the treatment of children, animals and the dead as well as the regulation of marriage, attire, and drug usage cases to rise to a greater extent thus making it difficult for the security administration to enforce proper law and order (Bond, 1982). The ethics and values of a particular culture impose serious problems for the security administrations also as people commit crimes and associate their sins particularly with criminal defenses, civil rights, and cultural regulations. So it became very difficult for the administration to regulate the country with different cultures as people take the shelter of their respective cultures in order to avoid serious punishments. This also makes the whole system reluctant of imposing the better regime along with the law-culture clash that raises questions of hegemonic domination, human rights and political philosophy in the whole country. It is very difficult for the administration to maintain the justice right for all the individuals believing in different cultures as they have dissimilar issues so the governments of countries with mixed cultures have adopted services that can solve the law-culture issues. One of the most commonly followed policies is the Community Relation Service as it provides platform to solve various issues based on race, color or culture. The countries have adopted qualitative dimensions with respect to justice in order to gather community perspectives at each stage of the justice process, while a quantitative dimension provides the opportunity to demonstrate outcomes that have credibility for community members and scholars also. Transformative mixed methodologies are also used by modern day systems to provide a mechanism for addressing the complexities of system coordination in culturally complex settings that can provide a basis for social stability (Kymlicka, 1995). Countries also use other methods like change in demographics and immigrant patterns to avoid clashes and these countries also set values under the justification and made immigrants aware of their laws in order to make every one aware of the law and regulation configuration (Kymlicka, 1995). These policies help the justice administration to put their decisions in the perfect manner so that the law and order of the society is maintained without any sort of fuss among the masses. The security administration also provides better policing facilities to provide enhanced level of security among the common people and avoid incidents that can lead to violence. The factors leading to the crime are also considered by most of the systems so that convicted individual is awarded punishment by considering all the parameters. These policies and methods provide a better coordination between the administration and the people belonging to different cultures by considering the issues and beliefs of particular culture and judging the individuals accordingly to provide most levelheaded and well composed justice. In 1829, Sir Robert Peel created the Metropolitan Police when he served as Home Secretary of England. According to Peel, the real key for policing is the police are the people and the people are the police. His principles can still be used in the present era as the prevention of crime should be the main idea in order to maintain a peaceful environment all over the state. The public approval could also be used like his principles as in case of diverse society, it is necessary for police to understand the different cultures that make up the communities that they patrol. This can be accomplished through multi-cultural training and education so that there is no problem in tackling the issues that involved people from different cultural background.

William Wordsworth’s The Daffodils compared to Miracle on St Davids Da

William Wordsworth’s The Daffodils compared to Gillian Clarke’s Miracle on St David's Day In this essay I will attempt to compare two very contrasting poems, William Wordsworth’s `The Daffodils' which was written in pre 1900s and Gillian Clarke’s ‘Miracle on St David's Day’, written in the 20th century. Strangely enough Gillian Clarke’s ‘Miracle on St David's day’ was actually inspired by ‘The Daffodils’. In 1804 William Wordsworth wrote ‘a masterpiece’, two years after his experience with the daffodils, while the poem â€Å"Miracle on St. David’s Day† was written by Gillian Clarke around 1980, one hundred and seventy-six years later. Wordsworth was born on 7 April 1770 in Cockermouth, Cumberland, and raised around the mountains of Cumberland around the River Derwent. It was here that he would have been in ‘pure communication’ with nature and this was probably the inspiration for most of his poems. Gillian Clarke was born in Wales in 1937. Her parents spoke only Welsh but she learned to speak English as well as Welsh and currently lives in Tallgarreg, Wales, where she breeds sheep with her architect husband, daughter and two sons. The poems have many differences and similarities. I plan to write about some of them in this essay. The poems are set in two different places. ‘The Daffodils’ was written when Wordsworth was out walking on his own, in Gowbarrow Park, by the River Ullswater – which was obviously outside. ‘Miracle on St. David’s Day was written in a mental institution – an indoor setting. This has an effect on the way each poem is written. Both are written about the human mind, memory and imagination, and I think that writing about these subjects would have been quite hard to do. Both poems ca... ...hem his spirit is immediately lifted, and he feels ‘gay’. This conveys that the sight of the daffodils was magnificent, and this is why I adore this poem so much, I almost feel jealous of Wordsworth for two reasons – one for his being there to witness the daffodils and also because he has an extremely talented writing ability always at his fingertips. Clarke’s poem is not as good as Wordsworth’s, although she does describe the event very well, and the poem is superbly written, but in my opinion, Wordsworth has written a better poem, one which is renowned the world over. I say that I prefer Wordsworth’s poem as he writes about a more uplifting theme, and this gives Wordsworth the edge. Clarke’s poem is not as uplifting as Wordsworth’s. I think that he has used the perfect words to describe his perfect feelings, and that is how I describe his perfect poem.

Melodic music is like a calming stream and is a great stress relief.Many people enjoy coming home and playing on their instrument and unwinding after a long and stressful day. Music also helps you learn, not only patterns and rhythms, but math's and other school subjects as well. It has been proven that students who participate in a music program score higher on tests and do better in school. It doesn't matter if the students are in primary school, middle school, or high school, as the results are the same throughout al l years of schooling. According to a study done tit year g's, some students played the Plano and keyboard, while other students did not.The students who participated In playing the Plano and keyboard scored 27% higher In math tests than the students who TLD participate In learning the Instrument. Another study with high school students who took the Stats showed that students with experience in music performance and music appreciation scored higher, by up to 63 points, than students with no arts participation. There are multiple studies that prove time and time again that music programs are very valuable and beneficial for students. Secondly, music helps build your team skills. Team skills are a very important in life.Whether Its playing a sport, or having to do a Joint project at school, everyone, at some stage will have to be part of a team. Playing an Instrument requires you to work with others, so your music sounds good. In a band or orchestra setting, you must learn how to coope rate with the people around you. Also, In order for a group to make beautiful music, each player and section must learn how to listen to each other musical instrument leads to the potential chance of creating or Joining a group or and. Performing and rehearsing together may lead to you becoming friends.The world of music opens doors that usually wouldn't be open to you. It provides the opportunity to go to places and meet people that you may not have had the chance to meet before. It's very common for people to gain lifelong friendships through musical activities. Finally, music helps you understand other cultures. Often music reflects the environment and times of its creation. Therefore, you learn a variety of music types such as classical traditions, folk music, medieval, and other genres. Music itself is history, and each piece usually has its own background and storyline that can further your appreciation of other cultures.Music can include a range of different instruments, from all over the world. When you are listening to music from another country, you may notice some things that seem odd. Whether it's a different language being spoken or sung, or an instrument like tapping sticks that you may have never heard before, every song has a part of its country included into it. After all, music makes the world go round. In conclusion, today's world is one of rapid growth and development in all areas, be it technology, population, or any number of things.A well-rounded education is essential for equipping students with all the skills necessary to fare well in modern society. A strong emphasis on the basic core areas of reading, writing, math, and science are a must, but music should be as well. This way more students will learn to love music and will carry on the tradition of making music for the world hear. Not only can music better prepare students for successes both academically and referentially, but it can also become the base for a memorable, happy, and involved social life.The future of this planet lies in the hands of the students; are we going to poorly equip them by denying some of them the opportunity to experience and learn from music or are we going to prepare them for success and let them play musical instruments?
